Thank you all for checking out my Blog page.  I hope that you will also take a look at the sections titled MY BOOKS and INTERESTING STUFF.

I apologize to faithful readers who have kept looking for quite a long time for my Blog page.  My road to you-know-where is well paved.

Time just seems to race.  I am up to Chapter 45 in my latest novel, Tomorrow, a sequel to "Hellfire and Snowdrops."  Tomorrow, like Hellfire, has a bit of spice in it. As my husband, Fred, likes to tell people, "Her novels for women are nicely spicy, not ugly spicy." He does the editing and proofing for all of my books, and recently told me that he "cannot wait to read the next chapter to find out what happens."

It just happens that Chapter 45 is a chapter that will have some spice in it as Alexis's sweetheart, Marco, an American undercover agent on a mission in Italy has suddenly appeared in her Rome hotel room after being out of contact for days, on a dangerous assignment.

While I am working on my novel, Fred is preparing the seond edition of my first book, Calbert and His Adventures, which was published in 1990 by Aton Press (now no longer a publishing house; the present Aton Press makes huge mehanical presses!). Fred will have the Calbert book published in paperback form first, and then as a Kindle book.

When he has that done, he will republish my novel, Rough Edges, under a new title. He discovered that there are a number of books already published with similar titles, and we do not want potential readers to be confused while searching for my book.

After getting those projects done, Fred intends to spend some time assiduously marketing my novels and children's books.  He has done little marketing other than handing out thousands of my business cards over the past few years. Because I am competing with literally millions of writers from all over the world whose books are, like mine, listed on Amazon, it is necessary to put some real effort into marketing. Now that I have a total of six books (novels and children's books) available on Amazon, all with five-star reviews, I believe that I can gain some recognition by an all out marketing program.  I hope that you will be looking for word about my books in the coming months.

I intend to write some more this week.

Be thinking about writing a book.
